Paola Bianchi Delp Recognized as a Woman Leader by Modern Healthcare

This prestigious award recognizes Bianchi Delp’s transformative leadership at CareNu

MARCH 11, 2024: TAMPA, Florida –

Paola Bianchi Delp, President of CareNu, was today named a Woman Leader honoree by Modern Healthcare, showcasing her outstanding contributions to the healthcare industry. The prestigious recognition program acknowledges and honors women executives from all sectors of healthcare for their contributions to care delivery improvement, health equity, policy and gender equity in healthcare leadership.

“I am deeply honored and humbled by the recognition from Modern Healthcare,” said Delp, MBA, MHA, ACHE. “This acknowledgment is a testament to the incredible work of the entire CareNu team. Together, we have achieved significant milestones in operational excellence and health equity.”

As an expert in population health, Delp has led CareNu’s efforts to bring continuous, proactive care to patients across Florida and beyond by deploying innovative big data and machine learning techniques to prevent illnesses from worsening. The results speak for themselves: a 52% reduction in hospital visits, a 61% reduction in hospitalizations, and a 43% net savings, over the last three years. Delp has also spearheaded efforts to blend Social Determinants of Health information into the care delivery process to move the needle on health equity.

“Our 2024 honorees for Women Leaders and Rising Stars represent all corners of the industry, including providers, payers, suppliers and associations,” said Mary Ellen Podmolik, editor-inchief of Modern Healthcare. “These women are working diligently to advance the objectives of their own organizations, with a focus on improving the patient experience. At the same time, they are advocates, tackling equity issues within their own organizations and the broader community.”

Delp’s commitment to gender equity is evident both inside and outside her organization. At CareNu, her leadership team is primarily women-led; beyond CareNu, she is launching a mentoring program in 2024 to help women advance their careers.

The profiles of all the honorees are featured in the March 11, 2024 issue of Modern Healthcare magazine and online at
